TOPIC:PROPAGATION TECHNIQUE

INTRODUCTION

This week, we were given the task to make plant propagation.The process of sexually or asexually reproducing plants to produce new individuals is known as propagation. It is essential to horticulture, agriculture, forestry, and landscaping because it promotes the growth of desired plant features, maintains genetic diversity, and produces plants effectively for a range of uses. To accomplish successful reproduction, a variety of propagation techniques are used, each appropriate for a particular plant type and objective. 

OBJECTIVE

-in order to increase the plant's population while maintaining its key traits.

-Aid in the vegetative parts of older plants being grown into new plants.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT




ACTIVITY

-Subuh prayer's at surau

6.20 a.m -7.20 a.m

-gather at the rollcall place according to their respective batches
-do morning exercise
-take student attendance

7.20a.m-8.20a.m

-gathered at agrotech
-sang 3 songs namely National Anthem, Wawasan Setia Warga UITM and Planter's Song
-The lecture explains about the task for this week

8.20a.m -10.30a.m

-move to nursery
-Start dividing tasks
-Start doing the tasks

10.30am-11.00am

-tasks have been completed
-cleaning the nursery plot is like pulling out weeds
-Every student is permitted to attend college again.

OBVERSATION:



Observation plays a crucial role in assessing the success of propagation techniques. It helps identify any challenges or issues early in the process, allowing for corrective measures to be implemented to ensure the production of healthy, vigorous plants.
