WEEKS 3:IDENTIFICATION, LABELING AND PLANT INVENTORY

INTODUCTION

This week, we were tasked with learning and practising tree trimming at the fruits plot, where several varieties of durian trees can be found. Don't forget about the Nursery, which is our plot angkat. There, we also engage in a few activities.

OBJECTIVE

-to learn how to prune durian trees

-to know how to use pruning tools

-To improve the structure of the durian tree

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

ACTIVITIES:

6.00 A.M

-We pray together in the surau

6.30 until 7.30 am

-do morning exercise

-Take attendance

-Asmaul Husna ,al kahfi

7.30 UNTIL 8.30

-Gather at agrotech

-Sing the National Anthem,Wawasan Setia Warga UITM,Planter's song

-lect has explained about this week's task.

-pick up pruning tools at the store

8.30 until 10.00 am.

-moving to the durian plot

-Mr. Aminuddin from UPL gave a briefing on pruning and showed how to prune.

-Perform the pruning process in groups that are divided

10.00 until 10.30am

-rest time

10.30am until 12.00aM

-move to plot angkat

-watering the trees in the nursery.

-weeding

-go back to Kolej


OBSERVATION:

We were able to learn how to properly prune as taught. In addition, we learned how to take care of durian trees.

 
 


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I also learned this week that there are three different kinds of pruning: crown thinning, crown reduction, and crown lifting.
